"What have you done?"

"This was a Melly-free zone. I was napping peacefully. You. Opened. The. Door."
*Exasperated sigh*

Luckily for Scarlett, Melly has been more interested in snuggling with me today, so Scarlett can continue to nap without worrying about her tail being accosted by a curious kitten.

Oh, the trials and tribulations of being the older sister...

Scarlett does look a little more than slightly peeved in this picture. She also looks quite comfortable as well.

Perturbed but not pestered. That's good! Big sisters need their alone time!

Love the perturbed look. At least Melly left her big sister alone this time :)

She's channeling that bumper sticker that reads something like : "Youth and enthusiasm can be overcome by age and guile".

Scarlett's default expression is quintessentially feline perturbation (as pictured), but it's deceptive: she has the same look when she's snuggling, purring, and making biscuits.

As an older sister myself, I can empathize with Scarlett. But my sister only went through a brief stage of typical younger sibling annoying behavior and we're very close now, so I have high hopes for Scarlett and Melly. :)
