Occasionally my cat will pop up on my desk in the early afternoon and begin nodding off while I am working. More often than not, it makes me sleepy and I end up taking a power nap, during which time my cat sleeps on the bed with me. Don't underestimate the power of suggestion!
Well, at least she was smart enough to give in and lay down - we have had a few fight it, fall asleep sitting up and then tip over (mainly Barney, but the others have as well).

I love watching my kitties when they fall asleep sitting up. Makes me want to take a nap too.
