Cuddling

Geoff and I were sitting on the couch with Scarlett between us when Melly jumped down off the back of the couch to join us:

While sleeping near each other or just barely touching has become pretty routine for these two, actual snuggling is still extremely rare. Melly is a little pill to Scarlett much of the time, so it makes me really happy when she does something sweet like this. Plus, it's awfully adorable!

They have come a long way... but the look on Scarlett's face in the last picture had me convulsed in laughter.

Ha ha, I just love Scarlett's grumpy faces but the snuggling is cute as well.

They've really made huge progress in snuggling, haven't they? I know they'll both settle down as Melly gets older and calmer and so Scarlett isn't as constantly annoyed by her. Such a pair of cuties!

That is sweet! And Scarlett doesn't look quite as disgruntled as she usually does hehe. I do see the caption of "Le Sigh" above her head though.

Reminds me so much of Bitty and Sophie! Scarlett and Bits clearly need to form a support group!

Aww.. I think Scarlett sometimes puts on an act that she doesn't like Melly. And other times she lets slip..

You know what they say: progress, not perfection. Which means they will probably be back at odds tomorrow.
