Flashback Friday: New Cat Tree

When the new cat tree arrived, it took a while for Geoff and I to assemble it. Scarlett was not amused by the chaos in her domain, and when the tree was finished and moved into place, she remained skeptical of it.

But once I coated the whole thing in catnip, Scarlett became more interested.

She had to try out every level...

...and test out the pom poms. (These are the same pom poms that Melly later tore from the tree.)

She was also great fan of the little house, which allowed her to survey her kingdom in comfort and style.

That's quite a kingdom you have, and to think that your people assembled it just for you is pawsome!

That's a great cat tree? Can I ask where you got it? I've been looking for a nice, tall, reasonably priced one -- it's that latter feature that's been hard to find. :( This is a wonderful one, though, even if Melly did destroy the dangling sparkly balls!

@Laura: I got the tree at cozycatfurniture.com (here is the link to the specific tree). It wasn't cheap, but I've had it for over two years and it's held up well.

Thanks, Natalie. I'll check it out!

Hi Scarlett, Hi Melly ~ we're so happy to make your acquaintance. You both are very purrty ladies and we thank you for visiting us. That is one super-tree you've got there; our Dad struggled to build just a "small" one for us...
sigh... he's not so much a handyman; but he does give good tummy rubs & our ZH keeps our blog rolling, so no complaints.
