My Mom, RIP, would say of Melly, "That's why we can't have nice things."
@ Cynthia: EXACTLY. Melly is why my apartment is pretty much bare except for furniture. I refer to her frequently as desructo-cat.
Oh, Natalie. I can so commiserate! My house was just lovely until I got Goldens and then a husband. I OFTEN make the statement to him about why we can't have nice things -- usually when he's throwing a stuffed basketball for the dogs. :) Don't you adore Melly, 'though? She's something else. I always think that there will be time for nice things again later.
Ha! Yes, I do adore Melly. She is a pain in the derriere about 40% of the time and asleep 50% of the time, but the other 10% she's the cutest, sweetest creature on the face of the planet.
You were so gentle with them, Scarlett!
What a wonderful video of you, sweet Scarlett!!Love to you and your sisfur.
Scarlett is enjoying the pompoms SO nicely!
I have a 14 year old kitty who is the perfect angel and never destroys anything. Recently we've added a 1 year old kitty who is the exact opposite. It's been quite an adjustment getting used to having to "baby proof" the house.
Scarlett, you are so good to those pom poms! Ours lasted about a week before we destroyed ours.
ScarlettYou are such a dainty lady and you play so demurely and sweetly. I am old and don't play much and I get mad when the others do play. But they are pretty good kitties. Their destruction isn't intentional. Things happen...but we think it'll be awhile before Mom has any nice things out.>^..^< >^..^< >^..^< >^..^< >^..^<Abby Ping Jinx Boo Graciepurrinxoxox~ManxMnews
Every multi-cat household has at least one destructo-cat. Ours is Binga.
No one says you have to be rowdy to have fun!
