Scarlett

Scarlett is not a fan of all the changes around here: my sister's arrival and constant comings and goings, my sister's boyfriend visiting, Geoff being around less now that he's working again, etc. So Scarlett been quite grumpy, going so far as to take swipes at people who try to pet her - including me, which is extremely unusual for her. When there are fewer people around and she's more relaxed, though, she goes back to being her usual snuggly self.

Aww, Scarlett is missing her boyfriend Geoff. I am sure she is hoping that Melly will disappear for a little bit. No matter how grumpy, Scarlett is still a beautiful girl.

We understand, Scarlett! We all need our own space and can only take so much upheaval!

Aww, Scarlett. Have you ever tried giving her Rescue Remedy? it might be enough to take the edge off.

Awww Scarlett, such goings on can totally stress a kitty out. Enjoy your quiet times!

Poor Scarlett! Change can be stresseful but it's nice she gets to relax when it's quieter. She's such a sweetie!

It is stressful, isn't it Scarlett. Snuggle up to Mom and all will be ok.

That is pretty grouchy, Scarlett! Binga can get a tad grouchy, but she only gets slappy if you push her too far... and she makes it pretty obvious when that is!

Oh, poor Scarlett!! That is exactly how my 17 year old tuxie princess, who is a lovebug extraordinaire with me, would be too in the face of such conditions. In fact, the last time I had house guests (one of them a MAN-type creature, heaven forbid), my poor girl was SO stressed out that I considered booting my guests! I didn't... but it was close :)
