Window Melly

Melly is sometimes a challenge to photograph in artificial light as all of her black fur can end up making her look like a dark puddle with legs. In natural light, though, you can see all the variations and texture in her coat, and she just shines.

I so know what you mean about artificial vs natural lighting on kitties. Melly looks great in that window!

Melly those "eyelashes" and your beautiful white bib stand out so majestically in the natural light. Mom knows all about "trying" to photogragh B/W kitties. Ping (orange tabby) is so easy to photograph but the girls aren't. But no matter Melly you are simply gorgeous.

Melly, you DO really look sharp in the window light! With my blue-gray points, I can really fade away in low light...
