I ordered a few things online, and the wide, flat box was a huge hit with the cats. Melly loves boxes, so that was no surprise...
...but even Scarlett enjoyed it.
The items arrived about two weeks ago, and the cats are still loving the box. I might need to decorate it or something, since clearly it's now an integral part of the decor.

LOL. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has boxes laying around the house longer then the items IN the boxes.. (well OK that is a stretch, but you know what I mean)
I have spent hundreds of dollars on a kitty condo, scratching posts, toys, beds - you name it. But guess where their FAVORITE place is to nap? In cardboard boxes that their canned food came in. I've had them out for at least a year now by the patio doors for maximum sun-age. Sidenote: Of course because their favorite place to nap is by the patio door, we now no longer use it. We are suckers!

You know the SECOND you do anything with it they will hatehatehate it...ding dang contrary cats, *sigh*.

MOL! We have boxes sitting around the house too that we still use but mommy keeps threatening to recycle. Boxes are the best!
We normally dont like wide shallow boxes. But we are happy that both Scarlett AND Melly are enjoyin it!
9 and Sheamus Popoki loooooove boxes. I can never get rid of them or I have to replace them when they get too old.
I'm not sure if they would enjoy the boxes as much if I decorated them :)
A rotating assortment of boxes are part of our home decor, too!
