Melly continues to be just fine after her button misadventure. I'm pretty sure the little nut is getting great satisfaction from causing all this drama.
.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a litter box to sift through in search of button bits.
Melly, what a scare you gave your mom, gee willikers!!
Mom Julie's had to do a lot of praying one time when she couldn't find an earring and thought I had swallowed it. There were some tense moments, but then she eventually found it. We have to be really careful around here because of little Mitty.
Good luck. I hope the button piece shows up right on schedule!! :)
Melly, don't cause your poor Mom so much anxiety!! Kitties around here like to chew on rubber bands so we have to be very very careful with them. I have heard some horror stories about dental floss and cats ingesting it, but a button sounds like it ought to come through OK. Good luck!!!!!!
We missed the button drama yesterday but we're glad Melly is okay! I take Mommy things in the middle of the night and one night I took her a leaf from the plant on the mantel. It took her a minute to figure out what it was since she was half asleep but as soon as she did she flew out of bed, got on the computer to look up if it was toxic - it was - so she researched poison control and almost paid $100 to talk to an online vet! The leaf had fallen on the ground and I only bit it enough to take it to her so it's not like I ate it or anything but she stayed up all night long with me to make sure I was okay. Talk about ruining my beauty rest! Of course I was fine. So we understand worry!
Melly girl leave those buttons alone! I take x rays in a hosptial and you wouldn't believe what people swallow...as long as you're feeling okay the button should be moving through...

Glad you're still doing well, my friend.

I know she's yawning in the second picture, but she sure looks like she is laughing.
Good luck with the button bit hunt!
