The naughtiness continues

Melly continues to interpret the "no cats on the table" rule to mean "no cats on the actual wooden surface of the table."  Yesterday, she carefully picked her way across the table using the detritus from my last craft project as stepping stones, before triumphantly planting her derriere on a stack of sketch paper.

"There has been zero paw-to-table contact,
therefore I continue to abide by the letter of the law."

"I'll just be over here looking angelic, if anyone needs me."

It is so cute that she actually seems to understand the technical rule!!

Brilliantly done, Melly.

Of course, a "no cat rule" wouldn't apply to you anyway, since you are a goddess! :-D

Hee hee! I am wondering what quote that is in the frame behind her.

Look, if you want to keep her off that, you have got to be more specific. You said not on the table, she is not on the table.. seriously.. do you expect her to read your mind??

as for the quote:
“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.”
