Telepathy

I read somewhere that cats evolved the ability to meow solely to talk to humans; when they communicate with each other, it's mostly nonverbal. Scarlett is quite a chatterbox and has a large vocabulary of trills and mews, which she mostly uses to chastise me for my sub par service of her royal highness. Sometimes, though, I think she tries to communicate with me in Cat. She has a very expressive face.

Scarlett sounds quite similar to Tucker. Does she look you in the eyes? Tucker will stare at you with his large eyes and you can see the expressions and emotions there.

Yes, Rene, she totally does. For example: last night I was laying on the loveseat and Scarlett hopped up next to me, stared right into my eyes and I'm pretty sure I could hear her saying, "You know what I want, now go get me food."

Instead, I napped.

I am with Scarett - I mostly talk to my human with looks and ear movements instead of meows. Or I poke her. Sometimes I give my human a tiny meow because I know it gets her attention, though!

^^ It is a cool thing when you know what your cat wants with no words exchanged. ;-)

I'm going with "Love Eyes".

Scarlett is the best. I would love to have a one on one conversation with her.
